The charm of the Three Peaks Dolomites

Just 2 km away from the apartments of Altmessnerhof Farm in Wahlen you will get immersed into the cheerful atmosphere of the Rienz Ski Centre in Toblach / Dobbiaco, crowded with children excited by their first ski runs. Indeed, this ski area, featuring easy and medium level slopes is particularly popular with families and beginners. Yet, on the Trenker run you will have the possibility to share the slope with the members of national ski teams, who regularly use it for training. At the meantime, snowboarders and freestylers are welcome to the Shaka Snowpark with a variety of kickers and the new Big Airbag, the only one in the entire Puster Valley!

And that’s not all: the Rienz Ski Centre makes part of the huge area Three Peaks Dolomites with 90 km of slopes for every taste. Different resorts are connected by ski buses and city buses, which can be used free of charge in the entire valley thanks to your HolidayPass (the nearest bus stop is just 300 m away from Altmessnerhof Farm). While the new Ski Pustertal Express train connects Toblach / Dobbiaco with the Kronplatz ski area, which is accessible with a combi ski pass (Three Peaks – Kronplatz) or with a Dolomiti Superski pass, that offers access to 10 other ski areas as well, including renowned Cortina d’Ampezzo, with is just a 30-minute car drive away from Toblach / Dobbiaco.
